January 2026 Employee Spotlight: Addison Fox, Client Onboarding Specialist

At ButterflyMX, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our employee spotlights are one of the many ways we celebrate the individuals who make our culture so special. Each month, we take time to highlight a team member’s journey, experiences, and perspective, giving a closer look at the people who help move ButterflyMX forward every day.

This month, we’re excited to introduce Addison, a Client Onboarding Specialist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since joining ButterflyMX in September 2024, Addison has played a key role in helping new clients feel confident, supported, and set up for success from day one. She brings patience and care to every onboarding experience, whether she’s guiding clients through their setup or building connections with teammates. Outside of work, you’ll find Addison on the tennis court, exploring new restaurants, traveling whenever she can, or spending time with her Yorkie, Gibby.

In a few sentences, tell us about what you do here at ButterflyMX.

As a Client Onboarding Specialist, I help welcome new ButterflyMX clients by guiding them through the setup and integration of their system. My role is to make sure they feel confident using the platform, have their settings tailored to their needs, and can start seeing the value of ButterflyMX from day one.

What’s your favorite part about working at ButterflyMX?

The people I work with! My colleagues are super ambitious, committed, and enjoyable to collaborate with. Everyone is willing to help each other and do what needs to get the job done.

What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned while working here?

Working here has really shown me the impact that patience, empathy, and clear communication can have. I’ve learned that successful onboarding isn’t just about processes or timelines—it’s about building trust, listening closely, and making people feel supported during a big transition. Being part of a team that cares about doing things the right way has helped me grow both professionally and personally, and it’s made me appreciate how much small, thoughtful actions can shape the overall experience.

What’s your proudest accomplishment so far during your time at ButterflyMX?

I wouldn’t say there is one particular moment or accomplishment, but it’s great to look back and think of all the clients I’ve helped in the past year. Knowing I’ve played a part in making their transition smoother and setting them up for long-term success has been really rewarding.

Tell us about your favorite day/event at ButterflyMX. What makes it so special/memorable?

The 2025 Offsite in Florida was an amazing time. As a primarily remote company, we of course don’t get to see our immediate colleagues face to face everyday and at the time I was still fairly new to ButterflyMX. It was great to bond with people I work with, and meet colleagues from other departments that I hadn’t met or interacted with before.

Fun facts about Addison

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

It would have to be near the ocean and super warm! I’d love to see what it’s like living on an island, maybe Hawaii!

Do you have a secret talent (*cough* superpower) you want people to know about?

If one of my friends or someone in my family loses something, I have a sixth sense of where they may have left it or a general area where I can help them find it.

What is your favorite thing to do after work or on the weekends?

Aside from being with friends and family and snuggling with my Yorkie, Gibby, I play tennis pretty frequently. I love to try new restaurants in my local area and take any opportunity to travel out of town as well.
