In a few sentences, tell us about what you do here at ButterflyMX.

As VP of Sales, I oversee our commercial sales strategy and team, working to grow the business while making sure we’re consistently delivering a great experience for our customers. A big part of my job is empowering our team to succeed and helping translate market needs into opportunities for growth

What’s your favorite part about working at ButterflyMX?

The people. The level of talent, drive, and collaboration across the team makes it a place where you’re constantly pushed to grow and do your best work.

What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned while working here?

There are three that stand out. One, is that great results come from great people. Investing in the team, coaching, developing, and empowering them, has the biggest impact on performance and culture. Two, is how critical alignment is across teams. When sales, marketing, product, and customer success are all working toward the same goals, it not only drives better results but creates a much stronger experience for our customers. The third is that playing long-term games with long-term people is critical. Trust, consistency, and accountability compound over time which lead to stronger teams and more sustainable results.

What’s your proudest accomplishment so far during your time at ButterflyMX?

My proudest accomplishment has been contributing to what we’ve built and continue to build as a company. Seeing our team come together to create something that truly solves real problems for our customers, and knowing I’ve played a role in helping fuel that growth and momentum, is incredibly rewarding.

Tell us about your favorite day/event at ButterflyMX. What makes it so special/memorable?

Any day I’m in our NYC office stands out. There’s something special about the energy of the team when we’re all together. It’s fast-paced, collaborative, and motivating. I always walk away feeling inspired, recharged, and even more excited about what we’re building.

Fun facts about Caleb

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I’d choose Asheville, NC. It has the perfect mix of incredible access to nature and outdoors, a great food scene, and strong quality of life. I am in a phase right now where building what we are creating here is a primary focus for me, but I’ve found that being in the mountains is where I do my best thinking and best work.

Do you have a secret talent (*cough* superpower) you want people to know about?

I hope those around me would say my superpower is my ability to teach, coach, and develop others. I get a lot of energy from the people around me, and I make a point to reinvest that energy back into helping them succeed and reach their potential.

What is your favorite thing to do after work or on the weekends?

I really enjoy working out and connecting with my family. I also like reading and learning about new businesses, concepts, and strategies. I’d love to say I have hobbies, but really don’t. I prefer to be intentional with my time and focus on the things that help me consistently show up as my best self.
