In a few sentences, tell us about what you do here at ButterflyMX.
At ButterflyMX I work as a Sales Director. In my organization our primary focus is to maintain and gain new partnerships. In sales, the idea is to grow the organization through revenue – at ButterflyMX, we do that by building true partnerships.
What’s your favorite part about working at ButterflyMX?
The culture. I don’t know how they did it, but ButterflyMX has created such a rewarding culture full of driven, motivating, and fun co-workers.
What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned while working here?
The importance of a people-first leadership. You always hear about different leadership traits, values, strategies, and so on. However, rarely do you have the opportunity to see it in action and have leaders who truly embody a people-first mentality.
What’s your proudest accomplishment so far during your time at ButterflyMX?
Being able to work cross-functionality with various organizations within ButterflyMX to produce our first ever offsite. It was an opportunity for me to connect with team members that I typically don’t work with in my day-to-day life, and the outcome was that it embedded another layer of conviction, happiness, and drive for my career here at ButterflyMX.
Tell us about your favorite day/event at ButterflyMX. What makes it so special/memorable?
Attending ButterflyMX’s first offsite was my favorite day at ButterflyMX and also my career. It was a week-long opportunity to learn from each other, break the remote work boundaries that hinder relationship building within our company, and, most importantly, it was a week of transparency. We were able to hear from every organization about their initiatives, goals, challenges, and wins, and I firmly believe that this type of collaboration only paves the way to more well-rounded success in the future.

Fun facts about Curt
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
The South of Spain! I have grown a fond appreciation for Spanish culture, food, and art, and I love the weather. Oh and I want to force myself to learn Spanish.
Do you have a secret talent (*cough* superpower) you want people to know about?
I actually have zero secret or non-secret talents; you know what they say: “Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” Long story short, I think I am just a well-rounded individual with no incredible talents, and that is okay!
What is your favorite thing to do after work or on the weekends?
I am a super social person, so my weekend calendar typically looks like a workday calendar full of friends, activities, events, and traveling.
