In a few sentences, tell us about what you do here at ButterflyMX.
As a BDR, I spend my days connecting with developers, managers, owners, etc. to see how ButterflyMX can make life easier for them, and for the residents who use our system every day.
What’s your favorite part about working at ButterflyMX?
I realize I’m not the first to say this, but the culture really does feel like family. On top of that, getting to sell a product people actually love makes the job even better.
What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned while working here?
The biggest thing I’ve learned is how much there is to the multifamily industry…and how important access systems are. I now notice every intercom I see, especially the outdated one in my own building. Had a nice visitor sleeping on the couch in my lobby the other morning. Turns out that is not normal.
What’s your proudest accomplishment so far during your time at ButterflyMX?
It’s a really cool feeling seeing a community go from saying ‘Butterfly who?’ to becoming a real partner. That’s what keeps me motivated every day.
Tell us about your favorite day/event at ButterflyMX. What makes it so special/memorable?
Day one in the NYC office. Met the founder and CEO. That’s when I knew the culture here was the real deal.

Fun facts about Dan
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Ohh, that’s a tough one. I’d probably start in Barcelona, then eventually creep into a smaller Italian or Spanish village by the sea or mountains. A nice rotation between city life and village life would be amazing for me and my family.
Do you have a secret talent (*cough* superpower) you want people to know about?
No superpower here. But if I could choose one right now, it’d be the ability to read my 17-month-old daughter’s mind.
What is your favorite thing to do after work or on the weekends?
Family time and running. Chasing a toddler and chasing miles.
