In a few sentences, tell us about what you do here at ButterflyMX.
I’m part of the People Team, specifically on the People Experience side. I serve as a point of contact for all employees and new hires completing all things People Experience related. I get the pleasure of onboarding all New Hires into the company and supporting employees through their careers here at ButterflyMX.
What’s your favorite part about working at ButterflyMX?
There are several, so it’s hard to break it down. The people at ButterflyMX are great, and I love getting to talk to every single person who joins the company. I also love that even as ButterflyMX grows, my leaders and managers genuinely care about my personal knowledge and career growth so that I can grow with the company.

What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned while working here?
I’ve learned a lot during my tenure here, but I would definitely say that I’ve learned the importance of continuously improving. There’s always something new that you can learn and use to innovate!
What’s your proudest accomplishment so far during your time at ButterflyMX?
One of my proudest accomplishments has been onboarding over 100 new ButterflyMX employees. I love getting to welcome New Hires and helping during their transition into the company.
Tell us about your favorite day/event at ButterflyMX. What makes it so special/memorable?
There’s been a lot of memorable days, but most recently was when I stumbled upon a ButterflyMX video intercom “out in the wild” in Chicago. There aren’t any near where I live in Kentucky, so it was cool to say, “Hey, that’s our product!”.
It’s also awesome to hear different people that I’m on calls with telling us that they love our product. Definitely feels like we are transforming access for people, even if I don’t get to see it every day.
What has been the best part about working remotely? The most challenging?
The best part is easy: My cat gets to hang out with me all day. She’s a pretty great co-worker but definitely sleeps on the job a lot. The most challenging part: maintaining a good Work/Life Balance.
Working from home can be a double-edged sword at times, but thankfully ButterflyMX is great about promoting a healthy balance!

3 fun facts about Lindsey
1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Hands down, Scotland. I’ve previously spent a large amount of time in Lesotho and lived in Austria and had the chance to travel quite a bit. There was something so magical about Scotland that if I had the opportunity to move, I’d go without hesitation!
2. Do you have a secret talent (*cough* superpower) you want people to know about?
I’m exceptionally good at finding a bargain. Need a ridiculously cheap flight to Europe? I can find it. Need a way to get lots of free Starbucks drinks? Easy-peasy.
3. What is your favorite thing to do after work or on the weekends?
I enjoy playing cornhole, reading, snowboarding, board games, trivia, and going to farmer’s markets. I’m not sure that I can narrow it down!
