In a few sentences, tell us about what you do here at ButterflyMX.

I’m the Director of Logistics, Purchasing, and Inventory at ButterflyMX. I oversee our warehouse operations in both New Jersey and Irvine, ensuring our products flow efficiently from supplier to customer. I also manage purchasing and inventory strategy — making sure we have the right parts, in the right place, at the right time, while building systems that drive operational efficiency and support long-term scalability.

 

What’s your favorite part about working at ButterflyMX?

The people and the pace. I thrive in fast-moving environments, and it’s been rewarding to work alongside smart, driven teammates who care about the product and are always open to improving how we operate.

 

What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned while working here?

I’ve learned how powerful cross-functional collaboration can be. Some of the most effective solutions we’ve implemented came from aligning ops, implementation, and product — and that alignment has been a game-changer for how we serve our customers.

What’s your proudest accomplishment so far during your time at ButterflyMX?

It’s hard to pick just one moment, but what I’m most proud of is being part of a team that consistently delivers for our customers. There’s nothing better than seeing happy users — that’s what drives me to keep improving. I genuinely love the product and have experienced it firsthand as a customer, which makes the work even more meaningful.

 

Tell us about your favorite day/event at ButterflyMX. What makes it so special/memorable?

One of my favorite moments was our team offsite where we finally got to meet face-to-face. Building relationships beyond Slack and Zoom really brought the team closer — and helped us work better together afterward.

Fun facts about Michael

 

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Tokyo! the perfect mix of culture, technology, food, and pure sensory overload in the best way. I’m drawn to the vibrant energy of the city: the neon-lit streets, the incredible gaming and tech scene, the food culture (I could eat wagyu every day), and how effortlessly tradition and innovation coexist. Plus, there’s always something new to explore.

 

What is your favorite thing to do after work or on the weekends?

I love spending time with my girlfriend Jaslene and our new Samoyed puppy, Tokyo — he’s full of energy and personality. Outside of that, you’ll usually find me gaming, boxing, hitting the gym, or catching a movie. It’s all about finding ways to unwind and reset after a busy week.
