  • Session Time Limits:After scanning the QR code, a 5-minute session time limit applies, after which the link becomes inactive and cannot be restarted with a page refresh. The visitor must rescan the QR code to initiate a new session. This ensures that all guests are physically near the building for all calls.

Yes, the ButterflyMX QR Code Intercom is weatherproof. The laser-etched plaque is built to withstand outdoor use. It’s also UV- and corrosion-resistant, impact-tested, and scratch-resistant with a hardness rating of ≥ 9H.

Yes, the ButterflyMX QR Code Intercom can be installed on virtually any surface. You can mount the plaque on glass, brick, metal, stucco, stone, and wood using adhesive or screws. Orientation options include both landscape and portrait.

Does the QR Code Intercom have an audit log?

Yes, our QR Code Intercom has an audit log. The audit log is available in the ButterflyMX OS (our online dashboard) for 365 days and includes a time- and date-stamped photo of each entry when access is initiated from a video call.
