When you first install ButterflyMX at your property, all tenants will receive an email to register for ButterflyMX. In some cases, however, it may take a few reminders – maybe they missed the email, maybe they forgot, etc. Whatever the reason may be, in the ButterflyMX OS, you send reminders to those unregistered tenants. Read this post to learn how to resend registration emails.
How to resend registration emails
- Log into the ButterflyMX OS
- Click ‘Tenants’ from the menu on the left side of the page
- Click ‘Resend registration email’
- Hit ‘Ok’
Step 1: Log into the ButterflyMX OS
Start by logging into the ButterflyMX OS on a computer.
Step 2: Click ‘Tenants’
Hit ‘Tenants’ from the menu on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 3: Click ‘Resend registration email’
Hit the ‘Resend registration email’ button on the top of the page.
Step 4: Hit ‘Ok’
After clicking the ‘Resend registration email’ button, a message will pop up asking if you’re sure you want to resend the registration email. When you click ‘Ok’, you will be resending the registration email to every single tenant who is still pending.
If you’d prefer, you also have the ability to resend the registration email to individual tenants instead. To do this, simply search for the tenant you’d like to send a reminder to. Next to their name, it will tell you whether or not they are registered. Click on the blue paper airplane icon on the right, and that will resend the email to that specific tenant.
If you resend the registration email and they still have not registered, we recommend at that point that you search for the individual tenant, and click on the eye icon which will provide you with a confirmation link. You can copy that link, paste it into an email, and send it directly to that tenant asking them to complete the registration process.
