You’re getting calls from ButterflyMX because your building has installed the ButterflyMX video intercom system. When you have a visitor or delivery person at your building, they use the video intercom installed at the entryway of your property to call you and request building access.

In order to grant access to your visitor or delivery, all you have to do is pick up the call and press ‘9’ to open the door or gate. Better yet, you can download the ButterflyMX mobile app to answer calls and get many more features.

When you get a call from a visitor or delivery and dial ‘9’ to grant access, you’re missing out on one of the best features of the ButterflyMX video intercom: the mobile app.

With ButterflyMX, you have the ability to actually see who is at the door before granting access. And when you download the ButterflyMX mobile app, you can do just that. When you receive a video call from your visitor, you can answer the call, visually verify their identity, and press the ‘open door’ button in the mobile app to open the door or gate.

How to register for ButterflyMX and get the mobile app

When your property added ButterflyMX, you should have received an email prompting you to register for ButterflyMX. If you can’t find the email, check your spam folder.
